Brad Potts is one of Chelmsford Family Practice’s nurse practitioners. One role of the nurse practitioner is to educate patients and help them understand and manage their own treatment; a second role is to diagnose and treat more common illnesses. Much like a doctor, nurse practitioners are licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to prescribe medications and order necessary medical tests.
Brad’s experience includes critical care, women’s health, occupational health and adolescent health care. Although we would all like to be “cured” of our maladies, Brad’s focus is care. He enjoys helping people understand how to stay healthy and enjoy life no matter what their health concerns may be.
